These driving gloves were worn by Sir Stirling Moss, the British Formula 1 driver who recorded his first victory in 1955 in the Italian Mille Miglia race. The backhand side is hand-crocheted pure wool. The palm is soft but strong deerskin. The elasticated wrist hugs the arm, but remains comfortable. We have kept the distinctive feature of Sir Sterling’s gloves, often overlooked in replicas: there are just three knuckle vents on the backhand side.
